What isthe For You page?
The For You page is TikTok’s main feed, made up mostly of accounts you do not follow. It is the reason a post from a small account can reach a hundred thousand people, and the reason follower count predicts reach so poorly.

Distribution on the FYP is decided post by post rather than account by account. That is genuinely different from a follower-based feed and it is why a creator with 2,000 followers can outperform one with 200,000 on any given day.
