Reach orrelevance: which one matters?
Reach is how many people could see a post. Relevance is how many of them it should matter to. Reach is the number on the profile; relevance is the one that decides whether anybody walks through your door.

Reach is easy to buy and easy to inflate, which is why it dominates briefs. It is also the number that behaves least like a business result. Relevance is harder to fake: where does this audience live, do they buy things like yours, and do they believe this person.
