Whatis an influencer?
An influencer is somebody whose recommendation moves an audience they built themselves. The word says nothing about size: what makes somebody an influencer is that people act on what they say, not how many of them are watching.

The term gets used as a job title, an insult and a follower bracket, often in the same conversation. The useful version is narrow: can this person change what somebody else does. A dentist with 900 local followers can do that. An account with 400,000 bought followers cannot.
