What doescost per mille mean?
CPM is cost per mille: what you pay for a thousand impressions. Mille is Latin for thousand, which is why it is not CPT. It is the standard way to compare the price of reach across very different channels.

Divide the total cost by impressions, then multiply by a thousand. A €400 collab seen 40,000 times is a €10 CPM. It is useful for comparing a creator against an ad buy and useless on its own, because it says nothing about who those thousand people were or whether any of them could visit you.
On Claris
On a barter collab the cost side is a table rather than an invoice, which usually makes the CPM look extremely good and is one reason it is a poor metric to stop at.
