An influencer platform is software where businesses and creators find each other and agree a collaboration directly, instead of arranging it through DMs, agencies or a spreadsheet. The good ones handle discovery, the terms of the deal and what gets delivered.

Before platforms, a collab started with somebody guessing: a creator guessing who might say yes, a business guessing who was worth a free table. A platform replaces the guessing with a list. What separates one from another is mostly what it matches on, and follower count is the easiest thing to sort by and the least useful.
