What isa discount code?
A discount code is a unique code given to a creator for their audience to use. It provides an offer and, incidentally, the cleanest attribution available: every redemption is traceable to one creator.

The trade-off is that a code changes the economics. You are now paying twice, in the collab and in the margin, and you attract the price-sensitive rather than the loyal. Used sparingly it is a measurement tool as much as a promotion.
