What isa creator fund?

A creator fund is money a platform pays creators for the views their content earns. Payouts are typically very small per thousand views, which is why almost nobody makes a living from one.

Funds matter less as income than as a signal: they are why creators diversify into brand work, UGC and their own products. Platform payouts alone rarely cover the cost of making the content.
